Cancellation Policy
We understand that sometimes plans change, and we do our best to be flexible when they do.
As a small practice with high demand for appointments, late cancellations, missed appointments and late arrivals make it difficult for us to offer those appointment times to other patients who may be waiting. To help us provide the best care for everyone, we kindly ask that you keep the following policy in mind.
Appointments
- We generally do not require prepayment for dental consultations or treatment.*
Cancellations
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we ask that you provide at least 48 hours’ notice.
Less than 48 hours’ notice:
- First occurrence: We understand that unexpected situations happen, such as illness, family emergencies or traffic delays. No cancellation fee will be charged.
- Second and subsequent occurrences: We may request a deposit to secure your next appointment. This deposit is not a cancellation fee—it will simply be applied towards your future treatment.
Less than 24 hours’ notice:
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, may incur a $50 cancellation fee at the discretion of management.
Cancellation fees are non-refundable.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, we may need to shorten your appointment or reschedule it so we can remain on time for the patients booked after you.
Repeated Short Notice Cancellations
Patients who repeatedly cancel at short notice, fail to attend appointments, arrive significantly late, or behave in a disrespectful manner may be asked to seek care from another dental provider.
We genuinely value every patient and appreciate your understanding. Keeping to schedule allows us to provide quality care and minimise waiting times for everyone.
*A 50% booking deposit is required for ZOOM Professional Teeth Whitening appointments due to the extended appointment time and preparation involved. This deposit is payable at the time of booking confirmation, with the remaining balance due on the day of treatment.
